Reasons why this couple is cannon (or should be)

♥ Daisy serves as Luigi's caddy in the game NES "Open Golf Tournament"
♥ Daisy's trophy in SSBM hints some sort of relationship between her and Luigi.
♥ The team names they get in some Mario party games (Steady Sweeties, Tango Tanglers, and Shy Sidekicks) "Steady sweeties" means a couple who are real serious about each other and never look the other way (as in seeing other people) basically a very dedicated couple.
The newer one "tango tanglers" well Tango is a kind of romantic dance, and usually the two dancers (boy and girl) will have certain ways of tangling their bodies together, It may sound weird but if you've seen the dance it makes more sense. (Information by "~lavielavie")
♥ Daisy has a good Chemistry with Luigi in the game Mario Superstar Baseball. Note that she does not have a Chemistry with Mario.
♥ In the intro scene of the game: "Mario Golf Toadstool Tour", when Peach calls Mario, Daisy calls Luigi.
♥ In Mario Power Tennis, Daisy calls Luigi "Sweetie" or "Hey sweet!" in her tournament victory cut scene.
♥ It was stated in the official Mario Party 4 guide that Luigi has quite the crush on Daisy, and that it's rumored there's an attraction between them.
♥ The last part in Daisy's bio on the Mario Party 5 manual states: "Does she have an eye for Luigi as well?".
♥ In Mario Party 6, Luigi and Daisy commonly appear together in pages of the Miracle Book.
♥ The Super Mario Bros Movie ...
